Sister Kathy Jo Cook is a member of the faculty in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Dietetics from Utah State University and a Masters in Public Health from Idaho State University and is working on her doctorate in Instructional Design at Idaho State University. She began teaching at Ricks College as an adjunct instructor in 1993 and became a full-time faculty member in 2000. Sister Cook has served in many capacities in the church including gospel doctrine instructor, Young Women’s President, camp director, scout leader, and primary teacher. She and and her husband, Rulan, are the parents of four children and have five grandchildren.
