The BYU-Idaho Symphony Band will perform its second concert of the Fall semester on Thursday, December 6th at 7:30 PM in the Barrus Concert Hall. Music will include one of the great standard works for band, Percy Grainger’s Lincolnshire Posy, a six-movement work based on British folksongs. Prokofiev’s March Opus 99, and Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring will also be presented, along with several other enjoyable pieces of the Christmas season such as selections from Polar Express and Merry Christmas, Darling. Come enjoy an evening of great music presented by the Symphony Band. Admission is $6 for the general public and $3 for BYU-Idaho students. Event dress is appropriate.
