Pianist Arthur Greene Studied at Julliard with Martin Canin. He was a gold medal winner in the William Kapell and Gina Bachauer international piano competitions and a top laureate at the Busoni International Competition. Greene is a professor of music at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He will perform Sonata No. 1 in F Minor, Op. 6 by Alexander Scriabin; Sonata No. 31 in A-flat Major, Op. 110 by Ludwig van Beethoven; Ukrainian Rhapsody No. 1 by Mykola Lysenko; and Four Piano Pieces Op. 119 by Johannes Brahms. He will also perform three works by Frederic Chopin: Etude in A-flat Major, Op. 10 No. 1; Waltz in C-sharp Minor, Op. 64 No. 2; and Gallade No. 1 in G Minor. Visit Center Stage for more information.
