Michelle Broadbent, Department of Music voice faculty member, will perform selections from her favorite American repertoire. Selections will include favorites from composers, George Gershwin and Aaron Copland, and musical theater pieces from Secret Garden and Once Upon a Mattress. The recital will also include the droll humor of Tom Lehrer and playful pieces from Leonard Bernstein. There wil be something for everyone with art songs, arias, and theater pieces.
