Managing Director, Student Well-Being
Wynn Hill was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. He was the second youngest of four and the only boy. Wynn served a mission in Toronto, Canada. He received a B.S. in Business Education and a Masters in Counseling, both from Idaho State University. Wynn worked for 11 years for juvenile corrections, first as a probation officer and then as a family counselor. He came to BYU-Idaho in the summer of 2006 and first worked as an administrator in the Student Honor office, then for a year as the Student Representative Coordinator. Wynn has been the Student Well-Being Managing Director for two and a half years. He is married to the former Desarie Murdoch. They have three children, Debanie, who is a senior in high school, Kialyn, who is a ninth grader, and Aidan who is in the first grade. Brother Hill has served in the Young Mens, as a Gospel Doctrine instructor, in five Bishoprics, and is currently serving as the Bishop in his home ward.
