Brother Justin Garner has worked at BYU-Idaho for the past 14 years. He started as an assistant Track and Field Coach for then Ricks College, and then worked as an Advisor in Student Activities before accepting his current position as the Director of Sports and Wellness in the Activities program. Brother Garner earned an associate degree from Ricks College and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s
degree in Athletic Administration from Idaho State University. He has served the Church in several capacities
including many years in the Young Men’s organization, a Gospel Doctrine teacher, a Clerk, and a Counselor in a Bishopric. He served a Mission in the Brazil, Riberao Preto mission and currently serves as the 11 year old scout leader in his ward. Brother Garner and his wife, Alisa, are the parents of four children, two boys and two girls.
