Brother Allan Walburger is currently the Chair of the Economics Department at BYU-Idaho. Brother Walburger earned a BA in Economics from the University of Lethbridge in 1991 and a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University in Indiana in 1994. Brother Walburger has had many opportunities to grow and serve in the Church. He served a mission
in the Argentina Buenos Aires North mission. He has been a teacher in various classes. He has served as an elder’s quorum president, counselor in a stake young men’s presidency, scoutmaster, counselor in a bishopric, bishop, and ward young men’s president. bHe currently serves as the Stake President of the Rexburg YSA 5th
Stake. He and his wife, Eva are the parents of four children.
