The BYU-Idaho Symphony Band will present an early summer concert this year making the 100th birthday of American composer, Morton Gould. In celebration, the band will perform Gould's Symphony No. 4 "West Point," written in 1952 for the Sesquicentennial Celebration at the US Military Academy. Also on the program will be H. Owen Reed's Samuel Barber's Commando March, Claude Smith's Eternal Father, Strong to Save, and Charles Ives' Old Home Days.
