The “Art in Bloom” even on the BYU Idaho campus is a final design project for the Interpretive Floral Design Class.  There are many events around the world where floral designers interpret works of art in museums, such as the De Young Museum in San Francisco, California.  They call it “Blooms to Art,” but it represents the same design challenge:  to look at the piece of art, and create a floral design that expresses how the designer is inspired by the colors or design composition of the artwork.  We will be placing several designs in the Manwaring Center on March 21.  Look for them on the first and second floors.  We hope they will be enjoyable, and bring a breath of spring to the campus community.  They are also a harbinger of the beautiful floral designs and fashion creations that will be on display on Saturday, March 25 in the Hart Gym for the Fashion and Floral Gala.
